Extremely rare, single-block tamarind wood chopping board. Dense, durable, and made from a single block of wood. Limited quantity available. Shipping all over India. The chopping board is 17 inches wide and 24 inches long with 1 inch thickness.
Made from Single Block of Wood. The Tamarind wood chopping board is a huge board in a single wood construction. Rare Size, the size of the board is different from the regular use products which are usually 10 inches in width.
Heavy duty and naturally anti-slip: The board is approximately 6 KG and will stay in place. This board is not intended to be moved regularly due to its weight.
Reversible design: The board allows use on both sides. You can cut meat and vegetables on one side with the juice grooves and the other side for meat.
Minimalist design. The board is simple and aesthetic and ensures the wood is perfectly displayed. The board comes with a functional design. Juice grooves and an inbuilt handle groove.
Hygienic and heavy duty: Tamarind wood is used professionally by butchers. They are known to be antibacterial and tough to withstand heavy blows. They will stay in shape and good condition for years with proper care.
Unique appearance: The board is almost white with specks of dark brown. Tamarind wood is naturally light in color. For people who love a beautiful white-colored board, this is the perfect addition to the kitchen.
Hardwood Quality: Tamarind wood is more dense than teak. They are known to be hard to work with due to its dense grains. This also makes the wood stronger than usual for a cutting board but makes a great butcher board.
Eco-friendly: Tamarind wood is known to be more eco-friendly. While these trees are commonly not cultivated for their fruits, they are common on roadsides and make a fine canopy on both sides of the road. When these trees become extremely huge they are cut down and replanted. Tamarind tree is widely grown in many parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Durability: Tamarind wood due to its tight grain structure is known to be extremely durable. They are not rich in oil content like teak but their tight grains make up for better water resistance. They are also moderately mold and fungus resistant.
Easy to maintain: Simply wash the board immediately after use. Oil the board when it feels dry or once a week for the first few weeks to ensure a shiny look. Sand if you see excessive marks on the board.
Size: 38 x 60 x 2.5 cm โ the board is perfectly crafted for large areas. Not easily movable at the weight of 6 KG approximately.
Material: Pure single block of tamarind wood.
