Scrape any food lodged in the board with the back of your knife. Rinse with warm water. Use mild soap if required. Wipe with a dry towel. Let the chopping board air dry. Place it vertically to ensure maximum ventilation. Oil the board at least once a month or when the board feels too dry.
Will the board crack or split over time?
No. This board is slightly more than an inch thick. The board is heavy-duty and will not warp or crack even after years of use.
