how to wax cutting board
Cuttiing boards can be waxed with beewax. We recommend that you mix equal parts of beeswax with coconut oil or Mineral oil and apply to the surface generously. Let it sit for at least 8 hours before wiping off the excess. Wipe off and polish the board with a smooth cloth for a perfect smooth finish.
how to disinfect wood cutting board
Wooden Cutting boards can be disinfected with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. This is the easiest and safest way to disinfect chopping boards at home. You can also use 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water to apply on the board. Wipe off after a few minutes and rinse well.
should i wash cutting board after oiling
You can rinse the board with mild soap after washing to ensure that the excess oil does not carry forward to the food you cut. There is no harm if you do not wash the oil off if you are using coconut oil. If you are using Mineral oil, we do recommend that you wash your board before use.
should cutting board be dry before oiling
Cutting boards should be throughly cleaned with mild soap and rinsed with water. All food particles should be removed from the board and dried before oiling. do not oil the board when it is wet. The water will be trapped in the board which may create problems over time including  durability of the board, mold etc.
should i sand my cutting board
You can definitely sand your cutting board once in a while. We do recommend a through resurfacing once every six months. Sanding should always be followed by generous oiling. Do not directly cut on a board immediately after sanding.
