Dishwashing a chopping board will result in cracking the board and warping . Wooden boards are vulnerable to too much moisture and heat.

Yes, You can sand the Wooden cutting board if you find the baord has too many scratches. It is recommended to resurface your boards at least once in a year. You can do it earlier if you find too many scratches. Use a 120 Grit Sandpaper to sand your wooden chopping boards. If the scratches are prominent, we recommend an 80 grit sand paper , followed by a 120 Grit .

No , This cutting board is made from a single block of wood. There are no glues, gums or tixic chemicals used in the construction of this board. this also ensures extra life for the board. Also the thickness of the wooden board is perfect to prevent it from warping or cracking.

No. We do not use stainers , colors or paint on the wooden Chopping board. All our boards are treated with coconut oil to prevent moisture absorbtion. We use food grade, coconut oil to treat our wooden chopping boards. This prevents mold and fungal growth in the board and creates a smooth finish. We recommend oiling your chopping board at least once a month for a better , longer life of the board
