The chopping board is constructed from a single block of wood. No glues, no gums, no adhesives, no toxins. The board is durable due to this one single reason, adding at least an additional few years of life. Single wood chopping boards also mean better wood quality and an assurance of aged wood.
Mango wood is known for its distinctive rustic looks, which makes it a perfect wood for an antique farmhouse finished look. The wood is treated with natural, food-grade coconut oil to enhance its durability and finish. No chemicals or polish are used on the wood and it is guaranteed food grade.
Mango wood used in the chopping boards is aged and cured for 6 months to ensure that the wood does not warp or crack. Naturally dried without using a seasoning plant, in sunlight. No sapwood is used and only heartwood, from the most dense parts of the lumber, is used for creating the chopping board to ensure durability and extended life.
The chopping board features a minimalist design with no complicated designs or edges to ensure easy cleaning and prevent food from lodging into crevices. Easy to clean means longer, safer use of your wooden chopping board. Also, a minimalist design ensures that it will always remain in trend.
Made from mango wood, the chopping board is durable yet gentle on knives. You can be assured that your knife will be sharp for longer. With a Janka hardness of 1070–1120, mango wood is considered hard and excels many other wood varieties. The hardwood feature of mango wood does not make it heavier. On the contrary, mango wood is much lighter than teak, making it easier to handle for regular kitchen use.
The round wooden chopping board is reversible. Use both sides for enhanced lifespan. Both the sides are designed with rounded edges. With a reversible design, the chopping board allows even wear on both sides, increasing the life of the board. You can also use one side to serve while the other side to cut vegetables. This ensures that the serving side is intact and presentable while the cutting side is under.

Our chopping boards are crafted from ethically sourced mango wood from Amra farms. Trees which are old and non-productive are replaced with fresh new trees immediately after cutting the old ones. Often new trees are planted to ensure they are rooted well before cutting old ones, ensuring sustainability and eco-friendliness. Most farms do not cut down trees to leave them barren. They are replaced with new trees to ensure there is a constant revenue and food production.
Our chopping boards are naturally beautiful. The wood, since they are sourced from aged trees, has deep, prominent grains. The heartwood of the tree is usually beautiful and we do not use the sapwood for chopping board production since it is lighter, less strong, and not durable.
Our mango wood chopping boards are easy to maintain. Just rinse with water after use, dry with a towel, and keep them upright to air them well. Do not use a dishwasher or hot water. You can oil the board once a month or twice a month to ensure they are water-resistant for longer, increasing the life of the board.
